Elevator Pictures

We stopped by the Renaissance Center since we were only a couple of blocks away visiting Atwater Block Brewery.  It had been many years since taking the elevator to the 72nd floor.  It's thrilling since the elevator has a complete view of the outside for some excellent views of the Detroit River, Belle Isle, Canada, and by accident, I even ended up with pictures of Atwater from up there.  Just remember, it doesn't open until 5 p.m.

If you get down this way, also check out the Detroit People Mover (click here), it's a constantly running above ground train that stops at the Renaissance.  It does a loop through downtown with stops such as Greektown (casino), Bricktown, Joe Louis Arena, & Cobo Hall.  The best part, it only costs 50 cents to get on and you can ride it around as long as you like until you want to get off.  Then it's only 50 more cents to get on again.

Another picture with brewery (I was supposed to be taking a picture of the little lighthouse, had no idea I was getting the brewery in it).
